(December 20, 2021, Hong Kong) To celebrate the smooth emergence of the Hong Kong's new Legislative Council Election unedr Improving Electoral System, a thousand taxis had launched a parade in Hong Kong on the morning of December 25. Around a hundred volunteers had placed national flags of the People's Republic of China on taxis early in the morning and posting posters with slogans like  "New Election System, New Legislative Council, New Future". The event is organized by Taxi Drivers & Operators Association. Taxi Drivers & Operators Association Chairman Dr. Bryan Lin hopes that the new members from Legislative Council Election will focus more on the economy and people's livelihood, so that Hong Kong's economy will recover soon. He also looks forward to the resume of quarantine-free cross-border will attract more tourists and help revive the taxi industry.
